Josie Podesta Soto brings with her 35+ years of Training and Development, Sales& Marketing, and Business Organization experience. Specializing in staff development, strategic business development, and human resources services in the hospitality, property management and service industries in both the domestic and international markets. For the past three years, she has held the position of Organizational Development and Training Manager at the Trump International Beach Resort. Mrs. Podesta Soto has supported the Academy of Travel and Tourism for over 20 years. A “hands on” executive, her style is best described as a leader that wears many hats. She developed her abilities working at USA TODAY, TV ONTARIO AND GALAVISION. Her success is due to one key ingredient- her ability to deal well with people by listening to their needs and going above and beyond with service. Mrs. Soto is certified in the Behavioral Selection program P. I. In addition, she completed the certification program at Barry University in Miami, Florida for Human Resources presented by The Society of Human Resources Management. She received certification as a trainer/presenter/ facilitator from Dr. Sharon Crane, President of Crane & Associates and received additional training from The Women’s Center for Executive Development and Michael Sheehan of Sheehan & Associates, Washington, D.C. She attended The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Areas of Expertise developing and delivering training programs; concept and design of marketing campaigns/brochures/promotional plans, employee manual preparation, orientation programs, event planning, facilitating strategic /goal setting meetings and creating procedure manuals. Training extends to all areas: Sales, Executive Coaching, Diversity, Customer Service, Human Resources Assessment, Performance Management, HR Policies, Procedures, and Safety.
